The first Peet's Coffee & Tea store that Alfred Peet opened in 1966 just had a victory, where Starbucks, due to some "underperforming" (translate: people weren't buying enough of their nasty coffee or sugary drinks) shut down the Starbucks a blog away from the Peet's store.
